What is the ESPR Digital Product Passport and does it apply to us?

The ESPR (Reg. 2024/1781) Digital Product Passport (DPP) phases in by product group. Batteries from 18 February 2027, textiles / aluminium / tyres around 2027, electronics and furniture toward the end of the decade. Full ESPR application is 19 July 2026, when the EU central DPP registry also goes live. The DPP is a structured per-item data record (material composition, dismantling instructions, repair info, recycled content) reachable via QR. We build the DPP pipeline: aggregate data from PLM and ERP -> GS1 Digital Link compatible DPP JSON -> QR / NFC tag -> EU registry sync.

What do you ship between MES and SAP S/4HANA?

The classic stack is SAP S/4HANA + Siemens Opcenter Execution / Rockwell Plex / AVEVA Wonderware: typically a mix of IDoc, OData and REST. We use IDocs for batch master-data (BOM, work centres, production order), OData v4 endpoints for real-time transactions (confirmations, defect tickets), and MQTT for shop-floor sensor streams. Pilot delivery 8-12 weeks, full integration 4-7 months. SAP cloud edition pushes OData/REST as the strategic path; IDoc only stays during migration where on-prem ECC is still alive.

When does CSRD ESRS reporting hit us?

The CSRD (Dir. 2022/2464) Stop-the-Clock amendment (Dir. 2025/794) postponed application by two years for not-yet-reporting large companies and listed SMEs. The Omnibus I revised threshold: from 2027, only companies with 1000+ employees and net turnover above EUR 450M fall in scope. Larger Hungarian manufacturers — automotive and engineering Tier 1s — are usually in. We deliver the data-collection layer: line-level energy use, scope 1-2-3 emissions, mass-balance for ESRS E1-E5 topics, XBRL Taxonomy export.

What's our NIS2 status as a manufacturer?

NIS2 Annex II classifies manufacturing as an important entity (machinery, electronics, automotive supplier above 50 employees or EUR 10M turnover). Hungary's Act LXIX of 2024 (in force 2026-01-06) makes registration and Article 21(2) ten measures mandatory. Important-entity fines start at EUR 7M or 1.4% of global turnover. We build the IT/OT segmentation, OT-side incident logging, and the 24h/72h reporting pipeline (Art. 23) toward SZTFH where applicable.
