EUDR DDS — hand-typed PDFs into TRACES
The EUDR Reg. 2023/1115 due diligence statement is still uploaded as PDF by many mid-size operators. After the 30 December 2026 deadline, an automated DDS pipeline (GPS coordinates + batch ID + risk assessment) becomes a practical requirement.
Smart Tachograph 2 still pulled with a USB stick
After the 18 August 2025 G2V2 retrofit deadline, driver-card and vehicle-unit data should be read remotely / OTA. Most mid-size hauliers still walk a USB stick around the depot. We build the remote download + auto-archive pipeline.
ICS2 ENS rejection -> truck stuck at the border
Since ICS2 Release 3 went live, a single bad Entry Summary Declaration can hold a truck or container at the border for hours or days. Pulling HS code, EORI, sender / consignee out of the TMS in a structured way, and auto-resubmitting on error, is non-trivial.
Multi-carrier rate-shopping in Excel
GLS, Foxpost, MPL, DPD, Packeta all have different tariff structures. Many webshops and 3PLs still pick a carrier with an Excel macro. We build a rate-shopping engine that optimises on price, time and coverage — across the EU.
NIS2 — haulier or freight forwarder = important entity
NIS2 Annex II (transport — road, rail, air, water) classifies mid-size and large logistics companies as important entities. Hungary's Act LXIX of 2024 mandates registration and the Article 21(2) ten measures. Fines start at EUR 7M or 1.4%.

Logistics — frequently asked
The EU Deforestation Regulation (Reg. 2023/1115) imposes due diligence on 7 product categories (cattle, cocoa, coffee, palm oil, rubber, soy, wood) and their derivatives. After Reg. 2025/2650, large operators have to comply from 30 December 2026, natural persons and micro / small enterprises from 30 June 2027. The first question for a logistics provider: am I categorically an operator or trader? We build the DDS (Due Diligence Statement) generation pipeline: GPS coordinates, batch ID, submission to the EUDR Information System (TRACES). SMEs now only need a one-off simplified declaration.
